Mahashivaratri> INCARNATION OF SHIVA, LORD OF CHANGE AND PROTECTOR OF ALL HUMAN BEINGS ...

Mahashivaratri> INCARNATION SHIVA

is a kind of play, the all-pervading and omniscient Parameswara, the Supreme Lord, incarnated in different times and perform miracles in order to protect his devotees. The aspects of creation, preservation and destruction of this world are but the natural play of Parameswara. Without any effort, by its very nature, like a precious jewel that will spread its glory in different ways, which is why those who study creating state: "Just as Truth, Consciousness and eternal bliss are natural to the principle of pure Brahman and absolute, in the same way, creation, preservation and destruction (dissolution) are natural to the Brahman manifest in the form of this illusory world. Therefore, the shape of Parameswara is twofold. The first aspect is the free form and attributes, eternal, pure Truth - Awareness - Bliss.

This can be experienced only through the scriptures he learned from a master. The second is equipped with form (Sakara), which in turn is of two kinds. The first is the world we see, and the second is the form that runs this world on the right path based on principles and moral behavior. This is the divine and auspicious form of Shri Shiva. It is the illusion that causes the misunderstanding that the rope is a snake. But after the removal of illusion, the snake disappears and the only rope remains. The alleged snake is no different from real rope. Similarly, because of the illusion, for several births pure Brahman is believed to be the objective world, taken for real. But having gained the knowledge, one realizes that the illusory world is no different from Parameswara. Therefore, all the bodies in this world are the only form of God Parameswara.

What this whole world is nothing but the form of Shiva is shown in the axioms of the Taittiriya Upanishad, the meaning is that this universe is the form of Shiva. The second form of the pure Brahman is shining in many aspects of the incarnations of Shiva. To punish the wicked and give grace to his devotees, to allow devotees to worship and meditate in order to obtain peace of mind and enjoy the happiness, Parameswara assumed Divine conducive many forms. Among the incarnations, that of Shiva is the supreme because, to protect the devotees, Ishvara, the pure form Satwa, is always in a state of Being Consciousness Bliss, in the pure state of consciousness Brahmico. In the case of other deities, the subtle blend aspects of Rajas and Tamas, occasionally causes some disruption in the experience of their true form in the course of activities in the world.

why Shiva has two forms in the form of Linga, and the shape of the body. Other embodiments have only the bodily form, and not the form of Linga. The form of Linga indicates the completeness and wholeness. Therefore, the embodiment of Shiva devotees appear sometimes in the form of Linga, and all members of the body other times, to satisfy their desires.

incarnation as Jyotirlinga
Once, when the creation of this universe began after the great flood, the Lord Narayana, emerged from the will of the Brahman, was wandering. He was contemplating to create beings according to their past actions (Karma). Meanwhile, Brahma, who had emerged from the navel of Lord Narayana, was going off around somewhere else. It happened once that they encounter. Each of them is considered superior to another, confronted with arrogance.

Brahma was launching a powerful weapon against the Brahmasthra Narayana, Narayana even while he was ready to launch its own asthra (Narayana asthra) against Brahma. In that 'moment, a Linga shining, without beginning and end, emerged with one another. Both Brahma and Narayana watched with amazement the shiny Linga. Both agreed that anyone who had first discovered the beginning and the end of that shining Linga would be considered superior to another. To find the top of the linga, Brahma placed on its swan and rose into the sky. He sought for a long vain, and then returned to its original place, unable to find the top of the Linga.

Narayana (Vishnu) went everywhere to find the origin of the Linga. He also sought Hades, but could not find it. Narayana also returned to the starting point. Seeing Brahma, who had already arrived, Narayana asked him if he had seen the top of the Linga. Brahma lied, saying they had seen the Linga. Narayana (Vishnu) said the truth, that it was unable to see the Linga, and admitted defeat. At that point, the all-pervading, omniscient Supreme Lord Parameswara, he could not tolerate injustice. He emerged from Linga shining taking the form of a body of pure, clear, radiant with glory, with the crescent moon on her head and her hair braided, with five faces and ten arms, as described in the Shruthi. He wore gold ornaments studded with precious jewels shining, and appeared before them in the form of benevolent Sambasiva.

He punished Brahma for lying, and gave thanks to several Narayana . Similarly, Parameswara appeared several times in twelve forms of the Linga shining, and in the form of "Narmadha Bina Linga ", blessing His devotees and fulfill their aspirations.

Maha Shivaratri
According to the Skanda Purana and other Parameswara first emerged in the form of Linga in the month of Margashirsha (November December ), at midnight of the day was dominated by the star "Ardhra," and the month of ŒMagha '(January-February) on the fourteenth day after the full moon. He appeared Parama Shiva as Brahma and Vishnu (Narayana), exiting ŒLinga from shining '(Jyotirlinga). Since Parama Shiva emerged in the form of ŒLinga 'the night of the fourteenth day after the full moon in the month of Magha, the night of Shiva is called ŒNotte' (Shiva Ratri). Parama Shiva emerged for the good of this world at that time and Brahma and Vishnu worshiped Parameshvara at that time, so that day is considered the holiest day.

So, that night in worship Shiva is most favorable and lead to great good, according to the Puranas and Smriti. To give His grace to His devotees, He became incarnate in several thousand forms of Linga, in order to give salvation to the devotees. It is said that you get salvation (moksha or mukti) if you see the sky in Tharaka Linga, Linga Kaleshvara the earth, el 'Htakeshvara Linga in the lower world. In this land of Bharat, that there were Linga emerged spontaneously , were laid by the deity Linga, Linga and laid by the great sages. These Linga found on the banks of rivers, in the mountains, and in every village, are worshiped daily by devotees.

The worship of Shiva gives support and salvation to everyone, and is easy and possible for everyone. You do not need to face expenditure. Having devotion, adoration Shiva is possible using a little 'clay to make a Linga Parthia, to purify the water, the leaves of Bilva and mouth as a tool are sufficient for the worship of Shiva. The fruit of this worship is simple salvation or the Kingdom of Heaven.

neglect to perform such a simple and easy to worship of Shiva is really unfortunate beings. In this world, some to spend generously for the transient and trivial worldly pleasures, but do not offer either five or six leaves Bilva of Ishvara to gain eternal happiness, which culminates in the attainment of salvation. This is rather the feeling of a true devotee.

A Miracle of Rare Shiva
In ancient times, for the upliftment of the devotees and to give them your Grace, Parameswara was usually emerge at midnight on Maha Shivaratri, first as a light in the form of Linga (Jyotirlinga) and the center of that Linga, the devotees could see the shape of Parameswara. Parameshvara now appears every Shivaratri, first as Shri Sathya Saishvara at Prashanthi Nilayam, and then emerges from His mouth as a pure, resplendent Linga, giving His grace at the same time thousands of devotees. This is truly a rare and great.

Mahashivaratri

Mahashivaratri 'festival falls on the 13th day of the waning moon of the month of Phagun (February-March in the Gregorian calendar) and commemorates the day of the wedding of Shiva and Parvati. Shivaratri is a very positive day. The girls married and those that are not yet carry out the puja with great faith, fervor and feeling, because Parvati is regarded as 'Gaura', that is the deity who brings happiness and a long married life. The unmarried girls pray 'Gaura' because it grants them a handsome husband, wealthy, wise and clever.

Shiva is represented with an image regarded as 'appalling', with his whole body covered with ashes and around his neck a garland of human skulls, with a live snake coiled together with a Rudraksha necklace around the neck and arms. Overhead (Jatta) has matted hair, with the moon peeping on the forehead and the Ganges falling from heaven and cast looking for a soft fall where ..

From his hair gently to the river Ganges is the way to the plain of 'Bhatatvarsh'. Shiva's neck is blue because it has consumed the poison when the sea was stirred to give rise to all the most important things in life. The Devas wanted earnestly the good things, but nobody wanted to take the poison and Shiva took this personally and drank it, holding it in the throat which is why it has taken on a blue color. It is said that the bird 'Neel Kanth' with his blue collar is particularly dear to Lord Shiva and take your message directly to him, if I may ask.

Shiva is particularly pleased to help and fulfill the wishes of his devotees participating in the pro and cons of all situations that could create problems. Shiva was even close to Ravana that he considered his family deity, and always help, though it was an Asura (demon). Shiva was on the side of Ravana in the great war that they supported with Rama, but he was disillusioned because of the arrogance of the king of Lanka. Ravana had a gift from Brahma 10 talking heads and all but one immortal. With this he could head Rama Ucci. Shiva did not intervene in this situation because otherwise the war would never have ended.

also the nephew of Prahlda, Banasur, who was an Asura, was a great devotee of Shiva. Banasur ruled the kingdom of Shona, who was in the mountains (today called Sarahan and is located about 200 km from Shimla). Banasur had a beautiful daughter named Usha, who fell madly in love in a dream Anirudh, grandson of Krishna and Rukhmini, and wanted to marry him in real life. Then abducted by Anirudh Dwarka with the help of her friend Chitralekha who could fly. C? Was being a great war between Krishna and Shiva and Banasur. Flying came to the aid of Bhanasur.

The two indestructible Almighty, Vishnu and Shiva, could not lose against each other, neither could be fit killed. All other Gods Shiva and Vishnu begged to reach a compromise or else the whole world was destroyed.
is in the heart of the Hindu Shiva Vishnu and as many Indians pray both with equal devotion.

Hindus believe that the 'Supreme' is unmanifest but to see and understand this phenomenon, the H) ndu project in the form of 'Brahma' 'Vishnu' and 'Mahesvari' and that is Brahma the creator, 'Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer or Mahesvari (These are all aspects of the Supreme energy equal in strength, wisdom, never born and never destroyed). Brahma after creatoli world, puts it in the hands of Vishnu and Shiva. For this reason they are revered by all in equal manner. The 'Deva' is not 'supreme power', but only angels assistants, Shiva and Vishnu and therefore should not be confused with them.

Vishnudiscende on earth as an avatar (incarnation) whenever people stray from the path of justice, while Brahma and Shiva never assume a human form. Brama while you wash your hands after you make the creation, Shiva has a lot of trouble with the world. Many things makes the other person first makes through the emissaries (doots) The head of Doots is YUM, whose task is to take away those who have exhausted their life cycle on earth.

Mahashivaratri is perhaps the most important festival for the Kashmiri Pandits. It is celebrated for 16 days on from the beginning of the beginning of the waning crescent moon, the day after the total darkness that is the first day of the waxing moon (Amavas). The marriage of Shiva and Parvati is celebrated for four days usually contiguous (Thrathshi, Choutash, Amavas and Parva). Mahashivaratri usually falls between 14 and 15 days before the feast of Hli. The preparation of this festival begins 10 days before Diwali and is considered as regards the cleaning of houses and the beginning of new activities .. The houses are usually cleaned from top to bottom and mud huts with roofs are covered with cow manure, a custom which is slowly disappearing. New beds, utensils and other necessary items for the home, are bought on this occasion.

Opened new clothes are limited opportunities for everyone, but certainly something new is reserved for the Puja. For all 14 days are carried out hard work and everybody is feeling particularly motivated, the excitement becomes evident in the house and the relationships between members of a family is especially felt. All involved, including young and old. The food becomes a major attraction and special dishes are prepared mutton, fish and chicken. The Kashmiri Pandits vegetarians and are not necessarily at every meal, they offer different dishes that everyone can learn to cook. The meat is not prohibited during the week of Shivaratri, I avoided in the days main. In all sixteen days gambling is very popular in the old game with the kuri (species of sea shells) is always very popular and no one forbids it. Even older people come together in the evening. Nowadays, of course, the cards have been replaced in many places the kauri, and in many homes to play the 'flash'.

The Indian Kashmir buy clay pots as symbols of Ganesha, Shiva and Parvati and other deities. It also bought incense, flowers and camphor for the Puja. A fifty nuts are essential for the Puja as part of Prasad. Many things (except nuts) are purchased in powder form because then time of year are not available fresh. These powders are the 'vatuk' masala and because of this Puja is called 'vatuk puja'.

During the eleventh day of the Puja room is decorated with pictures and photographs of the Devas and Gods. Are not usually made floral decorations not to remove the carpets and all the other things that are on the ground, Everything about the clothes and the Puja of the Gods must be strictly new.

Then comes the twelfth day dedicated to Ganesha Puja. A clay pot (Gegg) is filled with a little water (of the Ganges) and some nuts. This symbolizes Ganesha. The Puja is done Gegg this by means of water, roli, aipun, rice and flowers, so the marriage of Shiva and Parvati blessed. Although their son Ganesha, he should still be revered for first and all that is done must be done after the pujas.
